Snow!

So as I am getting increasingly bored I decided to make a blog post. It is likely that no one will read this since I haven't updated in so long but oh well.

I got to delta at 11:45 this morning since the radio said they would be opening at noon because of the snow. Then I discovered that my painting class was canceled and my next class isn't until 5:00. I normally have a three hour break and now have a 5 hour break. I would've been happy if I had any money to spend and the roads weren't butt.

Anyway I wish we had the internet at home but since we don't have a land phone we'd have to get cable internet which is like $40 or $50. On a positive note the cable guy is coming tomorrow to hook up our caple and we'll finally have something to watch! It's just in time for American Idol too.

I really wish that all my classes would've been canceled but I hope that now that I'm here my last class doesn't get canceled or the whole day will have been a waste.

Recently I discovered the joys of half.com. No, I'm not talking about buying books, I'm talking about selling books. I made $150 off of my books and if I would have sold them to delta I would've got like $50 for the ones they would even take. I should start my own book buyback and sell them on half.com. It took like 2 days to sell all 5 of my books. Whats not so cool is that you only get paid twice a month but oh well.

I just saw Glenn Lyons (the young one) in the library. I didn't know he went to delta. Anyway I guess I'll go. My class starts pretty soon.

Is it?... no... it can't be... I'm actually posting?

Yeah, it's true. Things have been really busy lately but I only have 1 week left of school. This semester was way dumber than last semester, but at last it's almost over. I got a 100% on the 8 page paper that I had to right for English and that was pretty cool, but besides Photoshop I'm not sure how I'll do in the rest of my classes. I did a website for photoshop, but you should make sure your screen size is set at 1024 x 768 otherwise it will be annoying and not fit in the window. That's the sad part about not having a mac. I doubt that anyone still looks at my blog, but for those that still didn't give up hope, you can look at it.

So don't tell Alecia, but I think Joel's going to propose soon. My mom was talking to my sister and didn't realize I was in the room (silly mom) and said yeah I got to see Alecia's... and I didn't hear the end but I was like Alecia's what and she tried to cover it up. Our one year anniversary is on April 30th.

I'm gonna have to find another job this summer. I still have to babysit for Angie until school is out but after that I'll have to find something. My goal is to find something that pays more than minimum wage and is at least 10% better than all the other crappy summer jobs I've had. That part should be fairly easy.

Well anyway I will try to post more often now that classes are almost done. I should finally be having some extra time.

So tired....no place to sleep

So I have this ungodly long break and I'm extremely tired and there's nothing I can do about it. The weather is stupid today and it's not helping my cold. My right nostril is plugged and my throat feels like someone took sandpaper to it but who's complaining.

The last couple of days have been fun but tiring. Jen and Kev's power went out, due to the wind. They've stayed at our house the past 2 days with all the kids. I've been sleeping on the couch that I'm too long for, staying up late playing games, and then getting up early the next day. I'm tempted to just curl up on the library floor but that might not be acceptable. My breaks are getting worse too because my walking class ended today and my already long 1.5 and 3 hour breaks on Tuesday have become one big 6 hour break. At least I don't have to worry about not having time for christmas shopping. Theres only so much you can do in Saginaw. You think i'd be less bored in a bigger city but it's still pretty boring. One day I descovered the new Goodwill in Saginaw. Today I went to Staples and got stuff for the church anniversary party invitations that I'm supposed to make. It's really annoying to have so much time and no way to do the things that need to get done. I need to carry around one of those squeezy things that they use on babies for my runny nose. Eww that would be gross though.

If anyone still checks my blog I could use some ideas of things to do during my breaks. Next semester I only have class on 2 days with an hour break on each day. Also my first class is at 11 so no more getting up at 5:45. If this post looks weird it's because I typed it on a mac and it doesn't show the fonts and stuff.

Your mother woke me up....

Well Sarah's mother did anyway. My parents went to West Branch this morning. Something about getting shoes.

Yesterday was fun. I got up early and went to talk to Angie. Then I went home for awhile and just relaxed in my comfy new Steve & Barry's pants. Joel came over after school and we went to Jen and Kev's until he had to go march in the game. I held Andrew practically the whole time and almost fell asleep... holding babies makes me so tired. After I got home Sarah called and we went to the football game together. It was a somewhat boring but mostly fun time and we killed AE. My poor, sad, losing, cousin. I guess he's pretty good though even if his team is pretty bad, but then again he did have a lot of fumbles and turnovers. After the game I resumed car pool duty and took Ross home and then Sarah and I watched Notting Hill at her house. That is a fun movie. It was nice having a just girls night even if it was just me and Sarah. With all my friends away at college I have a serious shortage of girl friends.

Today is sweetest day and I think Joel and I are going to watch a movie in Tawas or something. I called but the movies that are playing there don't look the greatest. Oh well.

I have a funny story to tell. Really it's quite humorous. Most of you don't really know my cat very well, but she is very psycho at times. My mom let her outside and then they forgot about her so by the time I let her in it was dark out. She ran inside as soon as I opened the door and kept acting really spooked and suspicious of everything. There must have been some sort of animal out there or something. My mom decided to tease her and walked at her, stomping her feet. Sausy freaked out and her hair was standing up and started hissing, I mean she was in attack mode. It kind of scared my mom and it took the cat a couple minutes to calm down. Later I looked at the spot where the cat got scared and found 2 small turds. Mom must have scared the crap out of her.

Well anyways that's all for now I hope you enjoyed my funny story. I have to take a shower now....

I'm in the groove and life is good...

I'm actually beginning to enjoy college rather than just tolerating it. My classes are going well and I actually know some people. Delta is really not as bad as people make it out to be.

So I'm going to the Homecoming game and I hope I'll find some people to hang out with. Most of the people I know are in the band. I know Jenny and Jody are going but I don't really want to hang out with them but Jody said that Ronnie was probably going so maybe I'll talk to him... It's so weird to think of going to a football game. Not to mention that I'm going to the dance and that will be even weirder but I think it will still be fun. I'm starting to miss my friends... I know it might seem like I don't care about them anymore but I do miss them and I wish I could figure out what I did with BethAnne's #. Hmm... I don't know.

Well I am very tired from having my 8AM class this morning so I think I'll go to bed. If anyone gets the urge call or email me.....

One More Class

And then I have a week off. I have Monday and Tuesday off for labor day. Art was fun today. We did smearographs. It almost seems unfair to people that have to go though hard college classes. I'm doing cut and past for three hours and they have to do math or something. Well I do have some more boring classes but not too bad. So for econ is awesome. Another day of going over the syllabus and then getting out 2.5 hours early. It's not as good as it sounds though because then I have to find something to do and I already would've had an hour break. Anyways I think I should get off now because last time I had a headache from driving and being on the computer so long.

Here at the U of D

So here I am enjoying my 5 hour break....

It would normall be a 3 hour break, but one of my classes doesn't start yet. Luckily I haven't gotten any really bad professors or classes yet. I like my Econ professor and the goverment class looks like it might be interesting so that was good. The Econ professor is a younger guy with spikey hair, lots of tattoos and derek conrad earrings. I was quite suprised. This morning I had basic 2 dimensional Design. It started at 8am so I'm a bit tired. I've got a good start on my 2 page government essay that isn't due for 2 weeks and I'm sure I won't have any trouble finishing my homework this semester. I'll probably get it all done on my breaks.

I've met some interesting people. I saw Jenny in the hall but I was going to class and didn't get to say hi. There's this Matt kid in my Econ class that went to AGS. He was in Barb's class. I'm not sure how he remembered me but he keeps talking to me whenever he sees me and it was ok at first but is now getting annoying. I also met this girl from AE that said she was going to be working at the bowling alley in AuGres. She was really nice and I saw her later and she said hi. I think her name was Chris.

Well anyways I'm just trying to find something to do for awhile. I have Illustrator and Digital Media at 5. That should be fun. I think it's in a computer lab. It's weird going to a place where you don't really know anyone. So far I've found everything ok. Thank God for those big green signs. I wish they had a napping center here. That would be awesome right now.

I was at a stoplight today and this black guy in a truck yelled at me that my tire was low. Of course I already knew it was low but I figured if he made the effort to tell me I should go put some air in it. It was a little lower than before but I probably could have made it home.

If I'm being boring I'm sorry but I guess I'm in a boring mood. I'll try to blog more from now on.
